Welcome to the future of the construction industry in Canada
Thats a bold statement, we know. But our future does depend on the people who build our homes and the buildings we work in, the roads and bridges we drive on, and the oil refineries that provide us with energy.
The Construction Sector Council (CSC) was created so that Canadians would have the most skilled and professional construction workforce in the world. Using a madeinCanada approach that partners business and labour, the CSC works to meet the human resources challenges facing the industry.
As a national partnership, the CSC can provide the information and knowledge tools you need to make informed and strategic decisions whether you are a large or small contractor, a labour group, an owner organization, a student, or a representative from government. Check out some of the CSCs current priorities:
Labour-Market Information
Technology at Work
Careers in Construction
Career-Awareness Programs
Standards and Skills Development
Developing a Partnership with CSC
Construction is a booming industry and were working together to keep it that way!
